Both also have cardioid polar pattern and are both omnidirectional, which means, they are able to pick up sounds equally from any direction. However, the Yeti has more additional modes: bidirectional and stereo. In bidirectional mode, the Yeti record from the front and rear sides, so it is ideal for musical instruments or an interview session.
