Tascam DR-22WL is a digital audio recorder featuring a number of unique features, especially the Wi-Fi connectivity. It can transfer data wirelessly to other devices via the 2.4 GHz frequency. There are also apps for it, through which Tascam DR-22WL can be operated remotely, also record and stream playback. It has a pair of cardioid stereo condenser microphones fixed in an X/Y position. In addition, there is a 1/8” input jack with plug-in power and dedicated input level control knob. It can file at up to 24-bit/96kHz quality. There are scene-dial presets for instant setup of common recording purposes. There is a USB port for connecting to a computer. Tascam DR-22WL has a memory card slot compatible with MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards, and requires a memory card to operate. Zoom H1
Zoom H1 also comes with a pair of stereo mics configured in an X/Y position to capture the perfect stereo images. It can also record in a maximum quality of 24-bit/96kHz. There are a 1/8” mic input and a stereo 1/8” line output, along with a USB port for data transfer to a computer device. It has a built-in mounting joint for tripod mount. Zoom H1 also requires a memory card in order to operate, and has a memory card slot congenial with MicroSD and MicroSDHC cards up to 32 GB. Zoom H1 does not have a dedicated input level control, but has an output volume control for adjusting the direct monitoring output. There are also various features such as track marker function, low-cut filter, auto record level, and some editing functions. Zoom H1 comes with the Steinberg WaveLab LE software.
